Chicks In Tech

ChickTech is nonprofit located in Oregeon. Their work focuses on providing support for women and nonbinaary persons in tech by fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion. These design are for merchandise. Firstly, the typographic design uses the word STEMINIST to inspire female strength in STEM-based fields. Design elements from the organization’s brand were integrated into the design to reinforce the ChickTech brand. The image cloud design utilizes science- based icons along with a saturated pink color to promote creativity of women in STEM. The use of minimalistic imagery provides readability and scalability for merchandise. The character shatters the notion that women work cannot be successful in male-dominated fields. This design was created as a role model for young women through the duality of feminism and being an astronaut.
